REVIEW / SWATCHES : L'Oreal - Infallible Silkissime Eyeliners {full collection}

{Black, Charcoal, Plum, Green Ivy, Cobalt Blue, Pure Purple, Teal, Gold, Highlighter, & Silver}

   I LOVE these eyeliners! They are so creamy, smooth, smudge-able, long-wearing, pigmented, & just fun! These come in an array of colors & a few different finishes. They can be used in the waterline, bottom & upper lashline,or even as a shadow base. These are pretty intensly pigmented, so you really don't need to build up for intensity, but it can be smudged out to tone down a little. They can also be blended with the other shades, other liners, or even shadows. That is what is so amazing about these, they are so versatile! But what really tops the cake for these are their drugstore price point. FINALLY a good quality eyeliner for us "Beaurtys on a Budget"! I can honestly say that these are the best liners from the drugstore, better than some high-end liners that I have used even. They only shade I feel is missing in this line is a nice matte brown, I love brown for a nice natural but defined everyday look. My favorite shade thus far is Highlighter {the pink), I like ti use it in the inner corners to highlight & brighten, in the waterline instead of a nude or white to brighten, & as a base on the eye to make colors brighter &  pop!

   I have found some pretty sweet beauty deals at T.J. Maxx, but this tops them all! GlamGlow, one of the hottest new brands on the market at T.J. Maxx for just under half off retail price. It litereally made my day / week LOL! I have tried this actual product before, I received samples with a few purchases, & I really enjoyed it! I can honestly say that I saw results after just one use, although minor, there were good results none the less. I must add, that I am only 23 & I don't have a lot of under-eye problems other that the occasional dark circles, puffiness, & the ever growing "fine" lines. This product is an absolute pleasure to use! I love the sensation so much so, that the results are almost an afterthought! The feeling is very calming & cooling & just all around pleasurable. I find that I can get away with using one pod for both eyes instead of the two pods on each sheet (which is recommended). All in all, I love this product & will repurchase for sure! GlamGlow has yet to release a product that I didn't like. I love masks & with their range of products I don't see me ever left wanting more from them. If you like facial masks, are looking for quick results, or are just wanting to find something new to add to your beauty routine than I would definitely recommend this product, their whole line of products actually! You won't be disappointed!

   I am sooo excited that they are letting subscribers pick samples again this month! I think thats so awesome of them & it could really change the beauty subscription world, for the better {IMO}, if others were to follow suite. 

   Are you as excited about this box as I am? What product will you be picking? I am going for the ModelCo bronzer, because ModelCo is a good brand & I am bronzer obsessed. The Laura Gellar Cool Lids would be good choice though, I own the rose gold shade & it is a good long wearing product great for summer (although I wish it would have been a more summery warm toned shade).    Diorskin Nude Tan Matte Sun Powder in Amber

    I really wanted to love this bronzer, & I probably would have, if in a more natural shade. This particular shade, Amber, is sooo orange! I think this is honestly the orange-est bronzer I have ever came across. I think it could work well for some, but most will find it much too orange. Aside from the shade, it was an all around awesome product. The texture is so smooth & luxurious , a real pleasure to apply! It blended like a dream & lasted for an average amount of time.

Suggested Usage:
For the nose: 
-Using the contour shade, apply two lines down the sides of your nose, starting near the beginning of your brow and ending at the tip of your nose, and blend, creating shadows for a slimming effect. 
-Remember: determine how slim you want your nose to be with these lines, so place them accordingly. 
-Using the highlighting shade, accentuate the bridge by applying a thin line from the top to the ball of your nose, and blend; this draws the light to the center of your nose, making it look straighter. 
-To make the nose look less long: Apply the contour shade to the very tip and underneath the tip between your nostrils to add shadows for the illusion of a shorter nose. 

For cheeks: 
-Suck in your cheeks to find the perfect hollow from your ear to the corner of your mouth. 
-Using the contour shade, apply along this line and blend upward to create the illusion of sculpted cheeks by creating shadows. 
-Blend upwards to instantly give the illusion of a facelift. 
-Apply blush right above the contoured line—on the apples of your cheeks—to create a naturally-flushed look. 

For the jawline: 
-Apply the contour shade underneath your jawline to square off your chin for a more sculpted look.

   I really like this kit! Until recently there wasn't many products on the market for contouring, I mostly used Kevyn Aucoin's The Sculpting Powder or one of MAC's Sculpting powders. Now many brands have came out with contouring products, & I have to try them all LOL! This particular one from Smashbox just came out within the last few weeks, it is in powder form & has a contour, bronzer, & highlight shade. The shades in this kit are fairly universal & will work for most people with more light to medium tan skin. I find that it is pretty comparable to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, just with less shades. The texture of the powder is good, it beds really well, and has just the right pigmentation for their purposes. The contour shade is really cool toned as it should be, but still looks natural on the skin. The bronzer is warmer toned without being orange or unnatural. The highlighter is perfect!It doen't crease uder my eyes & doesn't look powdery or ashy. They all complement each other very well, and this kit really gives you everything you need to highlight & contour like a pro! What really sets it apart from everything else is that it comes with a diagram and shows you step-by-step how & where to apply it based on your face shape!
