These beauty subscriptions are my personal favorites & the only ones that I would totally recommend to any & everyone. I have tried many subscriptions & at one point in time I honestly had over 20 beauty subscriptions a month! I love subscription services, I find that it is a really fun & exciting way to try new products, brands, & things you might not buy for yourself. With that being said, I definitely do not think it necessary to have more than a few a month if any. I myself found that I ended up with more products that I would never use, & I was using money that I could have used to buy something that I really did want & would definitely get a lot of use out of.
- Ipsy Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with four to six deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using. All for only $10 a month. When you join, you take a quiz, IpsyMatch, where you answer questions about your preferences. Items that you get in you bag will be based somewhat on you preferences through IpsyMatch. You can also review products received in your Ipsy bag to help in the customization of future bags (like if you get a hair product & you don't want hair products review it and say you don't want to receive these types of products & you will be less likely to receive them again). You also earn point for reviews through the Ipsy Points System. You can earn point in a number of ways such as reviews, referrals, sharing on Facebook & Twitter, among other things. You can redeem IpsyPoints for products which will be sent with your next Ipsy bag.
- Birchbox Each month, you'll receive a selection of samples (mostly 'foil packet' type samples, but deluxe sized & full sized items as well) sourced from both well-known brands and emerging gems. The women’s subscription includes everything from skincare to makeup, as well as fun non-beauty extras. Birchbox's original content helps you get the most out of your samples. As a source of inspiration, advice, and information they’ll show you how to master techniques and upgrade your daily routine with articles, expert interviews, and videos. When you are ready for more of the products you've sampled, you can purchase full-size versions directly from the Birchbox Shop. With a generous loyalty program that rewards you with Birchbox Points every time you shop, refer friends, and give feedback on your monthly samples. You can redeem Birchbox Points in the Birchbox Shop on any item (not just the ones you have sampled). Birchbox is $10 a month, & if you do your reviews you will have $5 a month in points which you can save if you wish.
